Atlas Mountains Seen Through a Nokia Lumia 1020 41Mp Pureview

The Atlas mountains  is a mountain range across the northwestern stretch of Africa extending about 2,500 km (1,600 mi) through Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia. The highest peak is Toubkal, with an elevation of 4,165 metres (13,665 ft) in southwestern Morocco. The Atlas ranges separate the Mediterranean and Atlantic coastlines from the Sahara Desert. The population of the Atlas Mountains is mainly Berbers. A day trip to the mountains from Marrekach too about an hour to get there and a walk up the mountains through the Berber villages and seeing the waterfalls coming from its peaks had plenty of opportunities to take photos using the Nokia Lumia 1020, and you can see some of these below. (a note the terrain reminded me of Afghanistan and Northern Iraq)
