HP Stream 7 – First Impressions

HPS7December last year I posted a blog here about the newly acquired Dell Venue Pro 8, a Windows 8.1 (full) based tablet. It was used daily of Christmas and New Year to surf the web and watch movies, and it was working fine, until a week ago when it didn’t turn on anymore, today I acquired a HP Stream 7 (with Windows 8.1). First impressions is that it is thicker than the Dell, smaller as it is a 7″ tablet, and feels lighter. The Dell was returned a few days ago. I did notice when I booted it up and started using it (when you sign into your windows account the desktop from all your devices is the same), the HP was quicker and more responsive and much less lag than the Dell. Right now I am ‘doing’ the windows updates, and in a few weeks Ill let you know what it is like actually using it daily.
